Wondering about
I know. Me writing in English. I guess this will make it easier for other people to read. Actually it is making it easier for me to write, when that shouldn't be the case as a Spanishhablante.
I don't talk (too much) about politics because it makes me feel dirty, exhausted, nauseous, etc. Not my country's (which definitively I know close to 0 at this point) not Japan's (which I don't understand as it is too bizarre for me).
Still I'm wondering about a few things about this country. I always see the nationalist mentioned, and while i agree with almost none of their ideas it makes me think about the past and the correct shape of an independent nation.

I guess it's difficult for me to think that civil education is wrong, being a product of my country's civil education efforts. Things like revering your flag, knowing the lyrics of your national anthem, the country simbols... Never thought them as wrong or as a nationalist turn. Separation of church and state was kind of meaningless when one of the big events of independence day is a misa. Is the Yasukuni issue just the A class war criminals in there?
Is there a REAL account of WWII? Can there be a REAL account of WWII?
Is an apology that difficult to do? We need to move on.
